This book… I finished in one sitting. The story was complete and thorough. Having a similar experience, I really felt everything. The excitement. The push and pull.

I happened to have met the author. I’m truly a fan now.

Left me feeling sad

Melanie is a very put upon woman whose husband is openly cheating and gas lighting her. When her husband leaves she starts an intense affair with a much younger man. A friend of her husband. I found it ultimately very sad. Still crying now and I finished it about 15mins ago. The facts it’s a memoir touched me. Trying not to give spoilers.
